Privacy Policy:
Whether you use the AuthorU or The Book Shepherd site for research, opt-in to our newsletter, request a white paper, enroll in the AuthorU member program, register for a meeting, BootCamp or Extravaganza or purchase one of the books we recommend, we will NOT provide your information to other lists or entities. In the unlikely event that AuthorU or The Book Shepherd sells-out to a larger company, you would still be notified of such news and would have the right to remove any information we have on you prior to the migration of AuthorU or The Book Shepherd to another entity’s control.

Terms of Use:
By reviewing any page on the AuthorU or The Book Shepherd site, you signify your Assent and Agreement to these Terms of Use as described below. If you do not agree to these Terms of Use, do not use the site and leave immediately.

  1. Earnings and Income Disclaimer:
    We (AuthorU and The Book Shepherd) have made every attempt to avoid making specific claims or suggestions that you will experience a certain percentage of sales increase by applying the strategies contained in our articles, books, BootCamps, or coaching and consulting services.

  2. With every product or service, there will be a wide variance in return on investment based on your business experience, education, the amount of time you are able to allocate to a given project, and your passion to succeed.

There is no guarantee that if you implement the strategies presented in this publication that you will achieve the identical results Judith Briles or AuthorU members or The Book Shepherd clients have experienced. Many unpredictable and/or unknown business or Internet related risks may apply, which could reduce your results.

If you decide to implement the strategies that we present throughout our Web site or in our products and programs with the intention of increasing the sales of your books, services, or business in general, you agree that you are doing so on your own free will. Just as Judith Briles, Author U or The Book Shepherd would not be rewarded for your success, they cannot be held liable for any failure of your business that is directly or indirectly related to the purchase and/or use of the information, products, services and programs offered through Author U or The Book Shepherd.

Payment Terms:
All payments for products and services offered by AuthorU or The Book Shepherd are prepaid before delivery or work begins, unless otherwise authorized the president of AuthorU or The Book Shepherd. Payments can be made by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express or by sending a check addressed to AuthorU or The Book Shepherd, PO Box 460880, Aurora, CO 80046. Payments through PayPal are also accepted.

Discounts:
Products offered by AuthorU or The Book Shepherd are periodically offered at a discount throughout the year or to accompany certain promotions. Discounts on services are only offered to non-profit organizations or as otherwise authorized by the president of AuthorU or The Book Shepherd. Discounts are available for bulk orders of HereNextYear products. Contact AuthorU or The Book Shepherd for details.

Refunds:
Although requests for AuthorU or The Book Shepherd refunds are extremely rare, they do occur on occasion as with any business. In nearly every instance of a refund request, the reason was not related to quality of content but to either inability to attend an event or product choice where another AuthorU or The Book Shepherd product provided the desired solution.

We make every effort to clearly describe our products and programs so that you can make the right choice the first time around. Refund offers are available on most products as noted on the order pages.

BootCamp registration fees are usually refundable minus an administration fee based on the number of days from the event. No refunds are given two weeks in front of an event.
Personalized books are not refundable.
