And if you start doing them today, you’ll be kicking some serious butt next
year. Joan Stewart is presenting the ALL DAY BookCamp in Denver in person on November 15th … this is the perfect set up for it … and if you are on
the fence in attending, you will “get” why you … and your book should be there as well. There are Hot Seats in the afternoon–will you be selected?

You will learn:

· The 7 “old school” tactics that don’t work anymore but authors are
   still relying on them.

· A killer tip that can pull traffic like a magnet to your YouTube channel.

· A key mistake authors make and why it seldom gets them the kind of major
  publicity they want.

· The short exercise that will determine how well you know your target    market.

· 21 questions you should ask to help determine the kind of audience that wants to read your books.

· The truth about press releases.

· The one place to look that will give you material galore for creating content–it’s right in front of you!

· The one thing you must be willing to pay for if you’re not willing to spend time

Create an Awesomely Short Book or Author Pitch

Authors are notorious about droning on and on about their books. When the mouth opens, a river of words flow … and flow … and flow. The listener spirals into drowning.

The savvy author knows how to pitch and hook the listener: short, snappy, sometimes saucy. The outcome is that books are sold.

  • Learn the three words that every Pitch must elicit from the listener.
  • Learn how to create a 30-second OR LESS Pitch that hooks the listener, sells books and gets the attention of producers and reporters.
  • Learn the 5 elements that can make your Pitch soar.

2dRXfeY

This intensive workshop is loaded with HOT SEATS … meaning that you are pitching live, getting critique AND then being shown “how to” fix where and what you need “fix’in” in.

Special Room Rate: $109 for attendees, includes FULL Breakfast PLUS Adult beverages and snacks in the Evening. Judith’s Tip: Stay at the hotel, even if you are a local … she is. It’s a great time to connect, schmooze, have fun … and continue what happened from 8.30 to 5 with co-attendees. Guaranteed, it’s a mini-break and makes a difference with your take-aways when you are fully immersed in the process.

Lunch included each day.

Stay “in the moment” so her teachings and strategies will begin to imprint versus being pulled back to the office and your personal surroundings.

Colorado … our Falls are spectacular in Colorado and most likely, snow shouldn’t be a factor in Denver. Spring is something else … sometimes snow; sometimes a little rain; sometimes lots of sun.

Note … breakfast is only for those who are registered at the hotel. I’m staying there and checking in on Thursday afternoon.

There will be coffee/tea onsite and throughout our sessions plus lunch each day …

Workshop Times: Each morning starts at 8.30 AM. Days will end at 4.30 PM.  On the 1st night–Friday, there is an after session casual soiree–an excellent schmooze and noshing time. Dress should be comfy. It’s wise to have a sweater–temps can very in our room.

If you are FLYING: Denver International Airport (DIA-Denver) is your destination.

Workshop Times: 8:30 to 4:30 each day. On the 1st night–Thursday, there is an after session soiree that is a great schmooze and noshing time.

Things have changed rapidly in the world of audiobooks since Richard Rieman’s award-winning book, The Author’s Guide to Audiobook Creation was first published.

For the first time last year, half of all Americans over the age of 12 have listened to an audiobook!

  • Did you?
  • Do you know someone who has?
  • Have your book buyers asked if you have your book available in audio?

There are new major competitors to Amazon’s Audible in the audiobook creation world.

  • What options are there?
  • Do you know who they are?
  • Should you be distributing through them outside of Amazon’s Audible?

Nonfiction books (History, Biographies, Memoirs) are overtaking many other genres among audiobook listeners.

  • Meaning that NF authors should be creating audiobooks—is yours available now?
  • Will it be your voice or a professional narrator?
  • How will you use it to market your expertise and position it?

Fiction books are naturals for audiobook listeners.

  • No genre is left unturned—what’s yours?
  • Should you have mixed voices/narrators or have a single voice?
  • How about adds—a little music for scene changes?

The Audiobook Wizard, Richard Rieman, will share:

  • Marketing Strategies and Tips for HOW to Market Your Audiobook
  • When Narrating Your Own Book is the Best Option ( and sometimes it is!) plus shortcuts to do a combo of YOU and a Narrator
  • How You Can Cover the Cost of Audiobook Production through Crowdfunding
  • How to Use Audible’s new promotional codes to get reviews and boost sales
Plus, How to Avoid Audiobook Publishing Predators

    …and, of course, much more.

This is a SHOW and TELL webinar.

For fiction authors … how about writing a story in the style of a specific author, but a theme that the author is not known for, such as “write a story in the style of Tony Hillerman with a plot of a space cowboy being stranded alone on his ship”? Hmmm.

For nonfiction authors … how about fast-forwarding your research needs to get instant answers? Or build an outline and mini descriptions for chapters? Hmmm.
